ROSSIISKIYE TEKHNOLOGII FEDERAL STATE UNITARY ENTERPRISE

The main line of business of Rossiiskiye Tekhnologii is the export/import of advanced developments and technologies of defense, dual and special purposes.

This enterprise provides to international markets the world-famous developments of Russian researches and designers, and represents Russia's leading research centers, design bureaus, as well as other research and production associations.

Rossiiskiye Tekhnologii offers a wide range of services to Russian defense industry enterprises and foreign partners in military-technical cooperation, including:

- export/import of defense, dual- and special-purpose advanced developments and technologies; strategic raw materials; and special-purpose equipment and materials;

- research and design by Russia's leading research centers, jointly with or by order from companies, to produce defense, dual- and special-purpose technologies;

- organization for the production of defense, dual- and special-purpose products in accordance with licensed Russian technical documentation;

- development of cooperation in the production of defense, dual- and special-purpose products with the use of Russian technologies and production equipment;

- transfer of licenses to produce armaments, military equipment and defense technologies;

- modernization of earlier-supplied Russian/Soviet-made armaments and military equipment;

- attraction of investments into the Russian defense industry and research organizations for the development and manufacture of competitive defense products;

- advertising and marketing campaigns to promote Russian defense products on the international markets.

In addition, Rossiiskiye Tekhnologii renders the following services:

- patenting and protection of intellectual property rights of those participants involved in deals to export/import defense and dual-purpose products;

- organization in foreign countries of research and technological centers, and training and retraining centers for introducing Russian technologies and using Russian-made defense products and other related technologies.

Also, in cases provided for by contracts, Rossiiskiye Tekhnologii renders intermediary services in supplying armaments, military special-purpose equipment, ammunition and small-scale consignments of explosives.

Rossiiskiye Tekhnologii is ready to supply advanced developments and technologies of defense, dual and special purposes, which are approved for export.

In keeping with the Russian Federation President's Decree #907 of August 20, 1997, the Rossiiskiye Tekhnologii state unitary enterprise was set up, along with the Rosvoorouzhenie and Promexport state unitary enterprises, to perform the functions of a state intermediary in the export/import of defense products. The enterprise's Rules were endorsed by the Russian Federation Government's Resolution #660 of June 26, 1998.

The Director General of the Rossiiskiye Tekhnologii federal state unitary enterprise, Boris G. Saltykov is a well-known specialist in science and technology development prognostication and in the management of innovation processes. From 1991 to 1996, he was Minister of Science and Technical Policy of the Russian Federation.
